FAQ

The questions teams ask before connecting a workspace — about sources, answers, and what happens to your data.

Common questions

Where do AskGIZA’s answers come from?

From your workspace and your documents alone. AskGIZA writes each answer from the files, sheets, and recordings it retrieves — and every claim carries a numbered citation to the exact page, row, or minute it came from.

Which file types can AskGIZA read?

PDFs, Office documents, spreadsheets, diagrams, scans, and audio or video recordings. Recordings are transcribed and indexed, so a spoken statement can be cited to the minute.

Which sources does AskGIZA connect to?

Direct uploads and public Google Drive links today — PDFs, Office files, spreadsheets, scans, images, and recordings all land in the same indexed workspace. Microsoft 365, Notion, and Slack connectors are on the roadmap.

How current are the answers?

Indexes stay in sync as documents change, so an answer written today reflects the documents as they are today.

Can answers be wrong?

AskGIZA only answers from what it retrieves, and it says so when the sources don’t support a confident answer. When an answer does land wrong, ask it to revise — and check the citations.

Who can see my workspace?

Only your team. Workspaces are isolated, roles decide who can connect sources, ask, and administer, and deletion is verifiable — see the Security page for the details.

Does AskGIZA train on my documents?

No. Your documents are never used to train shared models — they exist in your workspace to answer your team’s questions.
